HAWK, I’M YOUR BROTHER

A boy named Rudy Soto wants to fly like a hawk. He believes that people can fly if they wanted to. He repeatedly asked his father when he’ll be able to fly and his father answered him honestly that he’ll never fly.
Rudy came up with an idea; he’ll take care of a hawk so that he’ll learn how to fly. He’ll make the hawk his brother and they’ll fly together someday. In short, he caught a hawk and took care of it. He tied a string on the hawk’s leg so that it won’t fly away from him.
He gave shelter, food and friendship to the hawk but it usually struggled to be freed. One time, Rudy and the hawk went for a walk. When the hawk saw Santos Mountain, Rudy could feel that the bird wants to go home. After some time, Rudy let the hawk go. With the short time that he spent with the hawk, he realized one thing- he’ll never fly.
The hawk cried as it flew away as if telling that it’s sad to leave Rudy behind. Ruby learned how to take care of a hawk but never will he learn how to fly.
