HILL OF FIRE by Thomas P. Lewis

A Mexican farmer was unhappy because he felt that nothing ever happens in the small town he lived in. He was discontented because his life was routine, but everything changed when he and his son witnessed the birth and eruption of a volcano in the middle of his corn field. The eruption destroyed half of the village, but all the people were transferred to another town, and soon their lives were a routine again, but the farmer didn’t complain anymore.
