LITTLE NINO’S PIZZERIA

Tony’s dad has a restaurant. It is a pizzeria. Tony helps his dad a lot in making pizzas. Tony also helps in clearing up the restaurant. He also helps in serving the pizza to the diners. He even helps in giving the extra pizzas to the homeless people. They had the best pizza so many came to eat at their pizzeria. One night, a man offered Tony’s father to help him open a bigger restaurant. They locked up Little Ninos pizzeria and prepared for the opening of Big Ninos. It was a big, expensive and fancy restaurant. Tony tried to help in the big restaurant but every time he tried, he was just in the way. Even his dad was too busy to notice him. Because of that, Tony just went home. Oj how he missed Little Nino’s. One night, his father came home very tired. He missed little Nino’s also. He just wanted to make pizza. The next day, they reopened Little Nino’s. The man who helped his Dad open big Nino’s got a new manager. So, Tony and his dad were back to making the bear pizza, although not in Little Nino’s but in little Tony’s.

KEEP THE LIGHT BURNING

Annie and her family lived in a lighthouse at sea. Every now and then their father had to go to the mainland to get food and other supplies. Being the light house caretaker wasn’t easy. They had to make sure they kept the light burning to keep the ships safe.
One day, their father had to go to town to get some food as well as medicine for their sick mother. Before he left, he appointed Abbie to take care of the lamps. Abbie accepted responsibility and off their father went. After some time, the weather became bad. There was a snowstorm brewing. Abbie stayed up the whole night and made sure the strong winds and the ice forming in the glass didn’t put off the light. The next day, the weather tool a turn for the worse. The wind was stronger, the waves bigger and the freezing rain pelted down their store house. Abbie remembered her chickens. She went out to get them but as soon as she had her chicken in a basket, a giant wave was heading for her. She was almost swept away if she hadn’t reached the door in time. Abbie with her family along with the chickens tried to endure the weather. Even with all the distractions around her, Abbie didn’t forget her job of keeping the lights burning. The next day, the sky was dark as ever. They were running out of food and only had eggs to eat. The oil for the lamps was also getting scarce and their mom was still sick. Nevertheless, Abbie kept the lights burning.
Early the next day, Abbie and her family was surprised to see the blue sky and calm waves. Then they saw a boat coming towards them. It was their father! He had brought along food, medicine and other supplies for them. Abbie’s father said he was very proud of Abbie and that he wasn’t worried because in the mainland he could see that Abbie kept the lights burning thus keeping the ship safe.

GEORGE AND MARTHA by James Marshall

George and Martha were very good friends. Martha loved making split pea soup. Some days, she made pots and pots of the same soup. George however, hated pea soup so much. One day, after finishing 10 bowls, George had enough. He put his last bowl of soup into his loafers but Martha saw this. Martha asked George why he didn’t tell her that hated pea soup. George said she didn’t want to hurt her feelings. Martha said it’s ok and she’ll never cook it again. In another time, George wanted to fly in a hot air balloon. One time, he tried to ride in one but unfortunately, the basket was too heavy so the balloon couldn’t fly. So George got out and away the balloon went. Another time, George liked peeping in windows. One day, he peeped into Martha’s window while she was taking a bath. Martha got angry and she said friends need privacy too. In another time, Martha really liked looking at herself, even waking up in the middle of the night just to look at herself. One day, George got fed up and je played a trick in Martha and told her that she’ll get ugly if she looks too often in the mirror. Martha believed him so she never looked into the mirror again. In the last story, One day George accidentally tripped while going to Martha’s house. He broke off his right front tooth which was his favorite. George cried and cried and Martha tried making him happy. The next day, he got golden tooth from the dentist. He was happy because he had Martha as a real friend who always looked in the bright side of things and always told the truth.

There was a tiny boy named Chibi. One day at school, Chibi was missing.He was actually under the floor boards. Chibi means small boy. He was a very shy boy and he never played with his classmates. He is too shy to talk with them. That’s why he is always alone during recess. Chibi was interested in things that the other children were not and he found many ways to entertain himself while passing the tine. One day, a new teacher arrived at school, Mr. Isobe. He was very kind and tried to get to know Chibi. Later on, during a talent show, Chibi appeared on stage. He presented the different sounds that crows made. After he presented, Mr. Isobe told everyone that Chibi learned those sounds while walking to school. He lived very far.]

FLUFFY’S SCHOOL BUS ADV. By: Kate Mcmuller

It was Friday afternoon and fluffy had to be taken home for the weekends. Before leaving, the teacher checked if everything was ok. Then she saw fluffy. She took Fluffy and asked the bus driver to give fluffy to one student the driver accepted. The driver place Fluffy on a seat beside a student. A lot of the students played with Fluffy. Some played with purple go with him and some put gel and glitters on him and some even gave him lollipop. One by one, the children got off the bus until the driver found out that the student who was suppose to take him was in another school bus. Thankfully, the driver knew where the student lived so he decided to drop off Fluffy. Unfortunately, the bus broke and they had to go to the mechanic’s shop to get fixed. The repairman couldn’t see what was broken with the bus until Fluffy was found out. Fluffy got a little bit dirty trying to look for the broken part. Friendly they were able to fix the bus and ordered pizza for celebration.
Then the bus driver dropped off at the student’s house. The girl was surprised and she was very sorry for forgetting Fluffy. She promised Fluffy a nice warm bath, a dry comfortable bed and a good dinner.

GEORGE AND MARTHA

The story talks about two great friends, Martha and George. At first George was not honest to Martha, because it is hard to tell Martha about the split pea soup but Martha was fond of making the soup. George hated the soup but Martha was fond of making the soup. Martha did not know that until discovered it herself.

Martha and George were always together and they always have fun together. They take care of each other. They are concerned for each other, and especially they are truthful to one another.

LITTLE WITCH’S BIG NIGHT

The story is all about the witches. It was Halloween night and every witch is busy getting ready for their Halloween ride. Little was punished because she did something good. Mother witch and the other witches went out for the night to scare all the children. They did not know that little witch had new friends whom he spent her Halloween with. The big witches realized that Halloween is not fun without little witch. So, mother witch promised that Little Witch will go with them next year with her friends.
