DANCE AT GRANDPA’S

One winter, in a small house made with logs, there lived a young girl and her family. Laura had an older sister named Mary and a younger sister named Carry and an old bulldog named Jack. Early he next day, the family prepared themselves for a party of grandpa’s house. After breakfast, They head off to Grandpa’s house. It did not seem long before they reached their destination. With a smile and greetings they were welcomed inside the house. Everyone prepares as the day slowly turns into night. When darkness fell, guests started to arrive and before they knew it that the party had begun. Everyone danced to father’s fiddle and enjoyed the wonderful evening. Laughter filled the air and food filled stomachs until it was time for farewell. The guests left one by one until only the family was left to clean the house. The kids were tucked into bed. The next day, everyone woke up to smell of pancakes and maple syrup. After breakfast, Laura, Mary, Carrie, Ma and Pa head back home. With the memories of the fun party, they all look forward to the next one.

MILLIONS OF CATS

Once upon a time, there lived a very old man and woman. In a nice clean house with flowers all around filled with loneliness, the old woman longed to have a cat of their own. So the old man set out to find a sweet little fluffy cat. Over the hills and through the cool valleys, the man travelled until he reached the hill covered with cats. With plenty to choose from, the man starts to pick. One adorable cat after the other the man, unknowingly, gathers all the cats and leads them home to his wife. After a long walk back home, they finally arrive. In shock, the old woman told his husband to choose just one. So the old man tells the cats to choose amongst themselves the prettiest cat. A huge quarrel sends the couple into the house. After a while, silence takes over the noise and the couple comes out of their house. A lone kitten hiding in the grass was the only one left. The old woman and the old man take it into their house. Finally, the couple has found a cat to give them company in times of sorrow.

BEDTIME FOR FRANCES by Russel Holban

There was a girl named Frances. She was asked by her parents to sleep at 7 o’clock in the evening. She tried to sleep but she was distracted by a lot of things in her room. After a lot of times going in and our of her bed, she finally slept and woke up in the morning.

It’s already midnight and it’s time for Frances to go to sleep. Her parents tuck her in and give her a good night’s kiss. After a few requests acknowledged, Frances is left all alone in her room. Her playful mind lingers as her imagination creates illusions. Frances couldn’t sleep. Frequently visiting her parents and stalling time just to keep herself awake. Her father tells her that all things have a logical explanation and that everything has a job to do. Frances realizes that she should also do her job, that is to sleep and wake up early for school. The young girl finally understands and finds courage in her to go to sleep.

She was very strict that the students were asked to make their home works everyday. The students missed Miss Nelson until one day, she returned. They hugged Miss Nelson and they all became good to her.

There were three bears who loved in the woods. The Great Big bear, Middle Big bear an the Little Three Bear. One day, they cooked porridge for breakfast bur unfortunately, it was too hot so they left it to cool down. There was a girl named Goldilocks who went inside their house. She broke things and ate their food. She slept on the little bear’s bed until the three bears came home. They saw what happened. Goldilocks saw the three bears, she ran away and never returned.

They tried to call the doctor to know what’s wrong buy unfortunately, she was perfectly fine. She was comfortable with her antlers bur her family was worried. On Friday, the antlers were gone but she had peacock feathers in the end.

One day, Miss Nelson needed to be absent from school. She had a substitute teacher named Mr. Blandsworth. The class thinks that she is very boring. They tried to impersonate Miss Nelson by dressing up. They did everything as they pleased until Miss Viola Swamp came and she disciplined them. When Miss Nelson returned, the children were very happy.
