The class of Ms. Day is going for a field trip. They have a pet named Fluffy in their classroom. Everybody is rushing to the bus that they almost forgot to give lunch for Fluffy. However, Fluffy smelled something yummy. Beside him was Ms. Day’s purse. It went inside and he saw money, keys and apple.
Everyone is having their snack and Ms. Day looked for her apple on her purse. She saw Fluffy inside her purse and he took a bite on her apple. Ms. Day gave Fluffy to Emma together with the apple.
After snack time, everyone went inside the planetarium and the show begins. Everyone enjoys looking at the stars and constellation. Later on Fluffy fell asleep. Fluffy learned something about stars and constellation. In his sleep, he dreamt that he is also sharing it to the guinea pigs.

2C103 CHOMP
It is all about sharks. Sharks are fish. Sharks are described as great hunters; they are always hunting for something to eat. They have sensitive senses which are important to them when hunting for food. Most sharks hunt for fish and seals. Sharks are also known to be powerful swimmers. They swim day and night. They also have hundreds of teeth that are fit for what they eat. Sharks lay eggs and grow for nearly a year. Pups grow inside the egg case and when it hatches, pups swims out and takes care of themselves. There are many different characteristics of sharks and they spread all over the oceans.

4B3 THE HUNDRED DRESSES
The story tells about a girl named Wanda Petronski. Wanda is a quiet little girl and wears the same blue dress everyday to school and the same shabby shoes unlike Peggy, a very popular student in school, who seemed to have a lot of dresses. Peggie has another friend named Maddie. Peggie’s mom would hand down Peggie’s clothes to Maddie and Maddie’s mom would painstakingly renovate the dress so the students in room 13 will not be able to identify that the dress is originally Peggy’s. The two of them would regularly ask Wanda how many dresses she got and the girl would always say she got 100 dresses all lined up in her closet. Of course, nobody believes that since they see same dress worn everyday by Wanda, shabby but clean.
One day, there was a contest in school. The children were encouraged to submit their own drawings of dresses. On the day of the announcement of winners, Peggy was there all along with her friend Maddie, confident that she’s going to win it. But they were surprised to see that Wanda was the winner. All her 100 drawings of dresses were all lined up on the wall of Room 13. After that, the teacher had another announcement. Wanda’s father had sent a letter. The letter states they have all gone to the big city and that his children, Wanda and Jake will not be able to attend school anymore. Maddie was guilt –stricken. Although, she didn’t totally agree with Peggy’s act of making fun with Wanda, she had never stood up for her.
After the class, the two decided to go and visit Wanda’s house but when they came there, it was empty.
Months passed by and one day, the teacher received a letter from Wanda stating she has now new 100 dresses all lined up in her closet. And that she also gives the two drawings of dresses to Maddie and Peggy. The green one is for Peggy and the blue one is for Maddie. When the two arrived at home, Maddie noticed the girls wearing the blue and green dresses in the picture were actually Maddie and Peggy. They realized that Wanda had really liked them from the very beginning.

5C2 CALL IT COURAGE
CHARACTERS:
Mafatu= a boy whose name means Stout heart (Braveheart).His mother died when he was three years old in the sea while he was watching. He became afraid of the sea but tried to regain his name and honor
Tavani Nui= the great chief of Hikuero
Levi= his faithful dog
Kivi= his bird
The story started in the island of Hikuero. It was the old days of the Polynesians. People have not gone far and beyond. But people were skilled in fishing. Every brave man is expected to fish. It’s the measurement of courage.
A boy named Mafatu was different. He’s afraid to go to the sea though he literally grew up in an island surrounded by waters. His mother died in the sea when he was only three years old. She was carried away by the current of the water when but bravely fought to protect her son. She died eventually but Mafatu lived. From that time on, he became afraid of the water. His peers laugh at him and his father just kept silent. Mafatu had a faithful dog named Uri and a bird named Kivi. They were his constant companions. Tired of the jeering and taunts of his peers, he decided to overcome his fear by stealthily having island to an unknown island where cannibals worship man-made idol. He made his own canoe/ship, killed a boar, killed an octopus and was able to go back to his own island after overcoming his fear, despite being hotly pursued by the savage cannibals. The story ended well. His people welcomed him warmly and begun to change view towards him.

The story is about an eleven- year old boy fondly called Cracker by his former babysitter, Alma. His parents are divorced yet his father never failed to call him every Thursday. The reason for his parents divorce is very simple. His father can’t be serious at all so his mother divorced him. Truly, a great feat for an eleven year- old boy but he came out successful. He’s a good example for children to follow.

The story tells about the relationship of the Indians with the buffalos or the American bisons. Not all Indians are farmers. Not all of them depend only in corns for survival. There are Indian groups who became huntsmen. They hunt for different animals like elks, bears, deer, etc. However, the major animal that they hunt for is the Buffalo. At one point of time way back in the early 1800’s, Buffalos roam in packs in the low plains. The Indians depend on them for everything they need to survive. They use their hides to make tipis, robes, moccasins, etc. The meats are preserved to serve as their staple food. They dry it under the sin. It could last for years. Nothing goes to waste from head to foot, even the dropping or the dung of the buffalo. It is used for fuel to cook their food and to warm the inside of their tipis. The floor area of the tipi can measure 15 feet across. The space is big enough to house the whole family.
The Indians also own a great deal of horses. The horses are used not to assist them in their domestic needs but for hunting. The horses are trained well enough to gallop and run fast and go directly to the right side, not to the left side, of the buffalo so the Indian rider can pierce its arrow on the left. They have mastered this skill magnificently and artfully and men who are good in it are revered in the community.

Maria and Mike were in a hurry. They are in tight schedule. They have to go to the park and practice hitting balls and try to win the game.
While they were discussing about their fight schedule, someone was calling from the back of the tree. When the boy finally stepped out, he was wearing such a funny hat. He said that it’s a spy hat. He has to solve the mystery of his shrunken allowance. When asked how it happened, he explained that he keeps a record of his allowance and earnings. But when he looked at the peanut butter jar where he keeps his money, it has shrunken to an inch. His two friends helped him watched on the window where the peanut butter is. By and by, Jill came, P.B’s sister and took some coins. When confronted about it, she said that she exchanged her money to coins. The allowance didn’t shrink. Still something was bothering them. Before the level of money was above the “P” of the peanut butter name on the jar. Now, it's below the “P”. They later discovered that the cat knocked out the jar. It broke into pieces and Jill changed it into a bigger jar. That’s how it has shrunken but the amount of money is still the same. The mystery of the shrunken allowance has been solved.
