A girl named Sasha was sent out by her aunt to borrow a needle and some thread. She saw a house that stood on chicken feet along the way, and she decided to check it out. On her way in, she showed acts of kindness to the creaky/ rusty gate and the hungry dog and cat. The owner of the house turned out to be a witch who ate children, and thanks to the dog, the cat and the now-soundless gate, Sasha was able to escape.

THE 512 ANTS ON SULLIVAN STREET

On one fine day, a girl and her family went to Sullivan Street for a picnic. Nobody- except the girl- noticed the ants taking the packed goodies away. The first ant carried a crumb. It was followed by ants with some pieces of plumb.
The number of ants doubled each time. 4 ants got a barbecued chip; 8 got a bacon strip; 16 took a hard boiled egg; 32 hauled a plate of chicken wing and leg; 256 tried to take the cake but since it’s heavy, more ants (256) came to help garnering a total of 512.
Hungry, the family was ready to eat but all their foods were taken away to an ant hole in Sullivan Street.
