ONE FINE DAY

One fine day in a wide forest, a fox got thirsty. He lapped an old woman’s pail of milk. The woman demanded her pail of milk so the fox went to ask the cow. The cow wanted first to eat grass, which wanted water in return. To get some water, the fox needed a jug from a maiden, who demanded a blue bead in exchange. The bead was sold by a peddler who wanted eggs from a hen. The hen wanted grain which a miller gave the fox. After the exchanges, the fox got his tail and went to join his friends.
